More than 50 members of JewishERGs, including friends, colleagues, and non-Jewish allies, came together in London for a powerful and moving visit to the Nova Exhibition.
The group visited the exhibition to learn first hand about the events of 7 October 2023 and to hear the personal stories behind the devastating attack on the Nova music festival in southern Israel.
Through personal belongings, photographs, testimonies and stories, the exhibition offers an intimate account of the festival and the experiences of those who were there. For members of the JewishERGs community, the visit provided an opportunity to reflect together on the human impact of the atrocities and to remember those whose lives were lost.
The group were honoured to hear from Daniella Dor, who shared the story of her brother, Idan Dor z”l. Idan was murdered while attempting to escape the festival.
Daniella’s account brought a deeply personal dimension to the visit, giving those present an opportunity to hear Idan’s story and remember him as an individual beyond the events of that day.
Her words left a lasting impression on the group, reinforcing the importance of remembering and sharing the stories of those who were killed on 7 October.
The visit was also an opportunity to bring together people from across the JewishERGs community and its wider network, including non-Jewish allies. Coming together in this way created space for reflection, solidarity and remembrance.
